About the Role
This is a cross-functional role combining China market development, digital media, partnership support and international project coordination. The successful candidate will support the development of Wonder Travel programmes and partnerships across the UK and China, while also creating high-quality digital and visual content for different audiences.
Key Responsibilities
-Research new business and partnership opportunities in the Chinese market.
-Develop and maintain relationships with schools, universities, education organisations, travel partners and other organisations in China.
-Support the development of UK-China study tours, educational visits, professional training and cultural exchange programmes.
-Research Chinese market trends, audience needs and new programme opportunities.
-Prepare proposals, presentations and programme materials for partners and clients.
-Create bilingual digital and visual content for China-facing projects and campaigns.
-Produce graphics, promotional materials, short videos and multimedia content for websites and social media.
-Support Wonder Travel digital communications for Chinese audiences.
-Adapt UK programme and promotional materials for Chinese audiences.
-Coordinate communication between UK-based teams and China-based partners.
-Support conferences, exhibitions, university visits and other international events.
-Assist with the development of new digital products and creative programme concepts.
-Prepare market research and project development updates for management.
Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Digital Media, Game Design, Animation, Creative Media, Education, Business or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional experience within the Chinese digital media, creative, education or project-based sector.
- Good understanding of the Chinese market and professional environment.
- Strong project coordination, presentation and communication skills.
- Experience producing professional digital or visual content.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar creative software.
- Ability to prepare presentations, proposals and digital materials.
- Native or high-level Mandarin Chinese and professional working English.
- Ability to work effectively with organisations and teams in both the UK and China.
Desirable Experience
- Master's degree from a UK university.
- Experience studying or working in both the UK and China.
- Experience within higher education or educational programme development.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Autodesk Maya or similar multimedia software.
- Experience using AI-assisted creative tools.
- Previous experience in game art, digital design or multimedia production.
- Experience working with universities, schools or international education programmes.
- Experience supporting partnership development or international projects.
